Professor publishes two articles in Osgoode Hall Law Journal

Professor Emily Laidlaw has published two article on online defamation in the Osgoode Hall Law Journal.

"Internet Intermediary Liability in Defamation", co-authored with Hilary Young of the University of New Brunswick, argues that current law is not suitable to dealing with issues of internet defamation and intermediary responsibility because it is needlessly complex, confusing, and may impose liability without blameworthiness.

"Re-Imagining Resolution of Online Defamation Disputes" asks Are there alternative ways to resolve disputes that would improve access to justice and resolution for complainants?
