Five activities you won't want to miss during Diversity Days

Celebrate diversity and inclusion with free events on campus Jan. 28-30
Diversity Days

Diversity Days runs Jan. 28 to 30.

The Office of Diversity and Protected Disclosure (ODEPD) is hosting its annual Diversity Days, featuring 24 workshops, events, speakers, interactive elements and resources for the university community.

Diversity Days led by ODEPD showcase the commitment and efforts of the university’s departments and units in advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion on campus through various workshops and events. Diversity Days run Jan. 28 to 30.

While all the activities have something to offer, here are five activities you do not want to miss:

Indigenous 101: Language, land and context
What do you really know about Indigenous communities? Who told you that and why?
Re-examine the stories we have heard about Indigenous Peoples, where those stories came from and learn about context for language, place and space when working with Indigenous Peoples on campus.
