Archeology and culture combined at Siksika Nation field program

We are very proud of a pilot archaeological training program which ran for the first time this fall, and we are not alone in bragging about it! The program itself and the innovative collaboration continues to receive attention both here and across Canada in various news media outlets with a circulating article: "Archeology and culture combined at Siksika Nation field program".

The program was led by Dr. Lindsay Amundsen-Meyer and Leon Crane Bear, a member of Siksika Chief and Council, in partnership with Old Sun Community College at Siksika. The course was funded by TC Energy.
