Towards Being a Good Relative

A Parallel Vision of Indigenous Allyship

Overview

The focus on being a “good relative” aligns with Indigenous perspectives that prioritize collective well-being, continuous learning, and active participation in relationships. The action of “being” highlights that “being” is not a passive state but an active, dynamic process, and that deep self-reflection is integral to understanding oneself holistically.
