Gas Hydrates I am currently conducting experimental and computtional research related to the kinetics and thermodynamics of gas hydrate formation and decomposition. My research is focused on both fundamentals and applications. With regards to applications, I have interest in looking at the formation of gas hydrates in natural gas pipelines and in sub-surface reservoirs.
Biodiesel I perform computational work related to phase behaviour of systems containing biodiesel. Of particular interest to me is developing copmutational models to select freezing point depressants.
High pressure phase equilibria In addition to investigating the thermodynamics of gas hydrate formation, I am interested in applying my expertise in high-pressure experimental thermodynamics to other areas such as supercritical fluid extraction.
