Syntax, Morpho-syntax, Hebrew, Blackfoot My research program focuses on syntactic structure, with particular emphasis on nominal functional categories and morpho-syntactic features. My current work explores the role of humanness in grammar, with projects on imperatives, humanness and argument licensing and humanness and event structure. Past research projects have explored the relationship between event structure and clause structure, the composition of pronouns and sources of cross-linguistic variation in clausal functional categories.
