WHAT STAN AND TOM HAVE BEEN UP TO...


Stan Stein and Tom Harper served as co-chairs for the Planning Theory Track of the Joint Congress of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning and the Association of European Schools of Planning in Toronto, Ontario, in July 1996. The conference was attended by 850 academics from various countries. Their track was one of the most successful of the 17 tracks, with well over 100 in attendance at many of the sessions. They also presented a paper, "The theory/practice dualism: The doom of planning?".
