What are Diversity Days?

Diversity Days are an initiative to celebrate diversity and inclusion on University of Calgary campuses through a variety of events, open to all community members. 

The University of Calgary recognizes the importance of creating and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members of the community.

How can I get involved?

Attend one of the many activities across campus from January 28-30, 2020.
Take photos, share comments and feedback on social media, using #UCalgaryDiversityDays.

Diversity Days 2020 - Keynote event

Last year Michael Gottheil, Chief of Commission and Tribunal of the Alberta Human Rights Commission joined us for the kick off of Diversity Days with a thought-provoking keynote.

Gottheil delivered an inspirational address on Imagining a World Without Undue Hardship. Throughout his career, he has worked on initiatives that seek to make justice more accessible, efficient, effective, and responsive to the needs of the public.  Gottheil has practiced labour, employment and human rights law for close to 20 years
