Live with your Peers
Living in residence means getting to live amongst your peers, engage in community, and seek support from other students.
‘Social Distancing’ does not mean you have to isolate alone in your room – it means following Alberta Health Services guidelines while interacting with your peers. Residence might look a little different than before, but students will still be able to support one another personally & academically.
Residence Life is excited to provide numerous social and academic support programs for residents to attend virtually and in-person (if safe to do so). Here are just a few examples of programs you can anticipate in the fall:
Virtual fitness classes
“Study with Me” Sessions
Community Netflix Parties
Student Leader Support
Our Community Ambassadors (CAs) are returning to campus and are excited to continue to support your residence experience. CAs are highly trained leaders who provide individual support and plan community wide programs. Residence staff are available to support you 24 hours/day!
Landing will be open for takeout only until further notice.
The Landing will be open for dine-in service for the 2020/2021 academic term with unlimited All You Care To Eat Meal plans, including a full-service model where staff will assist students with various food and beverage items.
Following Alberta Health Services guidelines, there will be reduced seating capacity, enhanced cleaning procedures, and directional and physical distancing signage. Don’t forget your face mask when visiting.
Special events and community activities will still be offered and have been adapted to respect safety guidelines.
