Winter 2021 FAQ's
Residence Services will be emailing all students with a 2021 Winter application in early November, once class schedules have been finalized by the university.
The email will be asking students to confirm their interest in living on campus for the Winter term. Students that are interested will receive an Offer of Residence mid-November. The email will also give information about advance payments that have already been paid and how they can be requested back.
Non-medical masks be mandatory on campus, including residence buildings.
For the safety of our campus community, UCalgary students, faculty, staff, as well as visitors to campus, will be required to wear non-medical masks in indoor public spaces at all Calgary campuses.
Residents will be required to wear non-medical masks when they step out of their unit/apartment—all common areas, elevators, lobbies, hallways and laundry rooms etc.
Self-isolation units available if traveling from an international location prior to the start of the winter term:
- Incoming international students who have an active winter booking and are arriving from outside of Canada are able to self-isolate in Residence. Information will be posted in mid-November.
- Residence Services will not be offering self-isolation for non-residents.
- Move information will be posted by November 15, 2020
