You’re here to nominate a deserving colleague, classmate or friend for a UCalgary Distinguished Alumni Award. All nominations must be submitted by May 10, 2017.
The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honour presented by the UCalgary Alumni Association and recognizes an outstanding graduate whose contributions have notably improved their profession and community. They’ve reached a pinnacle of personal or professional achievement, with a sustained and recognized commitment to their endeavours. They enrich the lives of others through their leadership, shared knowledge, creativity and innovation.
Before you get started, here is a quick summary of the Distinguished Alumni nomination process:
Step 1: Using the form below, start by providing details about the UCalgary grad you’re nominating for a Distinguished Alumni Award.
Step 2: You will need to briefly answer the following three questions (500 words maximum per response):
Step 3: Collect and submit two letters of reference from individuals who can add their unique perspective on why the nominee is deserving of recognition.
Step 4 (optional): Gather and submit any other additional materials. This should consist of a maximum of five letter-sized pages, with articles about the nominee being presented as links and not full documents.
Step 5: Finish your nomination by providing your contact information.
