What we do
The Process Excellence and Transformation team is dedicated to driving operational excellence in line with the university's strategic plan, Ahead of Tomorrow, and the university's operations plan. We are committed to make processes and services clearer, simpler, and better by leading improvement and transformation initiatives that make it easier and faster to get things done across campus.
Our team works closely with units across the university to identify opportunities for streamlining services, enhancing service satisfaction, and improving the use of resources, that will benefit all students, postdocs, faculty and staff. We specialize in process improvement methodologies, change management, and project management to ensure sustainable, effective results.

Our process
The Process Excellence and Transformation team uses a prioritization process to select projects that have the greatest institutional benefit. Each project is evaluated based on criteria that measure alignment with the University of Calgary's strategic plan and its potential positive impact on the institution as a whole. We incorporate principles such as Lean Six Sigma to improve processes and services.
