    • li> Awarded a degree in Comprehensive Engineering Management(University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran) 2008

        Amir has been awarded an M.Sc degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Alberta, Canada in December 2012. Also, He obtained his bachelor degree with distinction from University of Tehran in September 2009. Amir joined EERG at University of Calgary in May 2015 as a PhD student under supervision of Prof. Mahinpey. His thesis is about fabrication of novel solid sorbents for CO2 capture at low and high temperatures. Also, he has been involved in catalytic CO2 conversion to methanol and methane conversion to hydrogen . He is interested in fabrication of perovskites, microporous and mesoporous materials for adsorption and catalytic applications. Through his undergraduate and graduate studies, Amir has been involved in several challenging research projects. He had several presentations out of his researches in peer-reviewed international conferences and published several papers from his researches.
