SUP Fitness

This is a smart, fun fitness program on a stand up paddle board designed to give you a great core workout. We'll meet in the pool (winter) or on a local pond (summer) for an hour in the evening, and work on strength, balance, endurance and injury prevention. You can choose to take individual sessions or register for the whole series. Prerequisite: none. Includes: instructor, all SUP gear.

Intro to Stand Up Paddle Boarding

This course will give you the skills you need to enjoy a day of flatwater on a stand up paddle board. We'll teach you the proper paddling form and how to balance and maneuver the board. You'll learn about equipment, paddling safety and the appropriate locations. Prerequisite: none. Includes: instructor, all SUP gear.

Intro to River Stand Up Padddle Boarding

Build on your flatwater stand up paddleboarding skills with this fun, 2.5 hour moving water course. We'll head to the Bow River at Bowness Park, where you'll be introduced to the skills you need—eddy turns and forward ferries—to safely navigate the Bow River. You can opt to join us for the full day of river instruction which includes a fun, downstream run. Prerequisite: Intro to Stand Up Paddleboarding, ability to swim 20m without difficulty. Includes: instructor, all SUP gear.

LED Light up Paddle Boarding

Experience stand up paddle boarding under the stars with boards that are lit up to illuminate the water. In this 2.5 hour lesson, you'll learn the basics, then explore the ponds at Carburn Park in a magical evening of star gazing, easy-going paddling and great selfies. This will be a night to remember and share, especially on the fall equinox. Prerequisite: none. Includes: instructor, all SUP gear.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding at Barrier Lake

Nothing beats paddling on a beautiful mountain lake, and now you can do it on stand up paddle board. On this day tour you'll learn or improve the skills and strokes needed to comfortably and efficiently maneuver on flatwater. We'll finish the day with a scenic paddling tour of Barrier Lake. Prerequisites: Intro to Stand Up Padddle Boarding, ability to swim 20m without difficulty. Includes: instructor, all SUP gear.

Sup and Hike

This is a unique multi-sport adventure in the mountains where we'll paddle and hike on the same day. We start by paddling our stand up paddle boards across Barrier Lake with our hiking gear stowed in dry bags. Then we hike up toward scenic Jewell Pass, stopping along the way at a beautiful waterfall. Prerequisite: Intro to Stand Up Paddleboarding, ability to swim 20m without difficulty. Includes: instructor, all SUP gear.
