Acro Gymnastics Skill Development Program [Cochrane]

The sport of Acro is a branch of Gymnastics Programs where gymnasts work together to create a routine in rhythm with balance, skills, and or combinations together with music. Our current program is designed to support the individual learning needs of these gymnasts and provide the technical support in learning the skills that help create these routines. Strength, flexibility, skill development, coordination skills along with mental preparedness all will contribute to the confidence needed to become a well-rounded athlete. During this time, training will be the focus as no routines or competitions are planned.

Gym Jam [Cochrane]

Gym Jam is a non-competitive, recreational fun meet that gives gymnasts an opportunity to show off the skills that they have been working on. Gymnasts registered in the Recreational program for the current Fall session in Cochrane or the Main campus (if invited by their coach) and who are ages 6-17, are eligible to participate. Both disciplines of gymnastics offered at the Cochrane location, will be included in Gym Jam. We ask that participants register based on the program that they are currently registered in.

Artistic Gymnastics – Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor
Trampoline & Tumbling – Tumble track, Trampoline, Floor (tumbling)

Each gymnast will perform a routine on each event, which they practiced as part of the programming for the session. As this is a fun, confidence building event, coaches will provide full support and can even guide participants step by step through the routines during Gym Jam. Bring the family and have them cheer you on as you show off your skills!

Due to popularity of this event, we now offer the choice to register in either the morning or afternoon session.

Fall 2022 Gym Jam will be held on December 17, 2022
