This beginner climbing series will get kids 7-10 years old excited to be active and explore their limits! Learn to belay and develop fundamental movement skills through play-based top rope climbing and bouldering.
Participants must be 7 years old, no exceptions.
Youth Climbing Club
Develop body awareness, coordination and strength—and have tons of fun! In this introductory series, youth 11-14 years old attend weekly sessions with our dedicated coaches who teach key skills for climbing and belaying safely. No experience required. Includes instructor and climbing equipment.
Teen Climbing Club
Love climbing and ready to learn more? This program offers a fun, social environment to develop climbing skills through top-rope climbing and bouldering. Our instructors incorporate body position, foot placement, warm-ups, and stretching into the sessions to increase fitness and build awareness around injury prevention.
Defy gravity and reach new heights all week. You’ll spend half the day wall climbing and bouldering indoors and the other half outside playing games, swimming, biking and visiting kid-friendly places in the city.
Prerequisite: you must be confident riding a 2-wheel bike regardless of grade level.
Required: bike in good condition and a helmet that fits properly.
Please Note: we cannot accommodate bikes that are not in good working condition. If biking for more than one day, overnight bike storage is available.
Teen Outdoor Climbing
Spend 3 days rock climbing at popular beginner routes in and around Kananaskis Country with ACMG guides. You'll have fun as you learn basic climbing skills like belaying, climbing calls and movement and progress to developing foot placement, hand positions and route reading.

Outdoor Winter Break Camp
Spend the winter holiday having fun and playing in the snow! We plan to drive to Kananaskis for 2 days of snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and building snow forts. The other 2 days will be spent bouldering and/or wall climbing, swimming, building snow forts and more!
