1. Outdoor Rock Climbing Intro

Spend a day with us and be inspired to make rock climbing a lifelong passion. You’ll stay safe as you learn skills under the guidance of our enthusiastic ACMG-certified instructors. You'll be set on the right route to becoming a rock climber in no time. Prerequisite: none. Includes: guide and climbing equipment.

2. Lead Climbing Intro Day (outdoor)

Do you know the basics of outdoor climbing and want to start leading? Or perhaps you’re already leading indoors? In this 1-day course, our highly-qualified instructors will help you perfect your skills and lead climb with confidence. Learn about guidebook interpretation, route selection and grades, placing protection, clipping and ropework, building belays, climbing movement technique and rappelling. Prerequisite: Intro to Lead Climbing (indoor) or equivalent experience. Includes: guide and technical climbing equipment (excludes personal climbing equipment).

3. Trad Climbing Intro Day (outdoor)

If you have experience leading sport climbs and understand basic lead climbing principles, then this accelerated 1-day Trad Climbing Intro program (a condensed version of our Trad Leader 2-day) is for you. Be prepared for a faster pace as you are introduced to trad gear and placement, gear anchors and leading strategies. The morning is spent practicing placements and anchors and the afternoon builds up to practice leads. Prerequisite: Intro to Lead Climbing (outdoor) or equivalent experience. Includes: guide and technical climbing equipment (excludes personal climbing equipment).

4. Trad Leader 2-day (outdoor)

This 2-day course combines the fundamental skills learned in Trad Climbing Intro Day with the additional practice necessary to be independent on single-pitch trad routes. The skills taught in this course carry over into crack, sport, ice, and alpine climbing. You’ll have the chance to build up to top-roped and supervised leads, and develop the skills to safely lead single-pitch rock climbs on your own. Prerequisite: Intro to Lead Climbing (outdoor) or equivalent experience. Includes: guide and technical climbing equipment (excludes personal climbing equipment).

5. Rock Rescue Intro Day (outdoor)

You’re stuck! Now what? This is the course that every rock climber should take. Put your mind (and those of your partners) at ease by understanding exactly how you'd react in an emergency. Prerequisite: Intro to Lead Climbing (outdoor) or equivalent experience Includes: Guide and technical climbing equipment (excludes personal climbing equipment).
