It's time to show off those gaming skills! UCalgary Intramurals has launched Esports, connecting the UCalgary community to a series of sport-theme virtual gaming. Play for the glory, the bragging rights, and the coveted Intramurals championship buff!

All you need is internet, xbox 1 or series, ps4 or 5 and a legal copy of the one the follow games:

Summer Basketball

Summer Basketball will return Summer 2021

New
Intramural basketball offers competitive tiered leagues to allow you to select the type of competition you want. Teams will be scheduled for 12 games, teams will play on both Monday & Wednesday each week.  No games schedule the week of August 3 . All leagues will have standings, officials and playoffs.  Play as a team or with other individuals. 

Summe league playing format: 4-10 stop time quaters, within 1.5hr time slot.  Games are 6:30pm or 8:00pm starts.  Teams are open status, meaning there is no gender minimums required. Max. 12 teams.

A Division – Players would have intermediate to advanced skills and a firm knowledge of the rules. They would have played competitively in high school or with city leagues. Usually Division A to D in senior men’s league, but not limited to.

B Division – Players would have basic to intermediate skills and knowledge of the rules. They would have played in Jr. or Sr. high school. Usually Division E or lower in senior men’s league, but not limited to.

All division descriptions are a base guideline.

Mixed Basketball

New policies in place. Please read the list carefully as we wish to still provide you with the best and safest way to play.
-University guidelines, only will allow current UofC students (on campus or off campus) to participate. .Alumni (with restrictions)
-Only teams will be allowed to register, no individual registration unfortunately, This will help with the cohort policies
-Teams and players will only be allowed to register in league/division. Players may not play in in multiple leagues as directed by AHS guidelines.
-No Seeding round, teams will be scheduled for 8 leagues games.
-Mixed will play on Mondays and Men's will play on Wednesdays.
-Spectators will not be allowed
-Teams will be required to have their own jerseys, light and dark if possible preferable with numbers. These can be same colour shirts.
-Masks must be worn in all UCalgary buildings, they may be taken off for game play.
-All participants must complete 2 waivers, the sport specific one, this will be on your active living profile once you have added to the roster by your captain, and the University Covid waiver, before you will be allowed to participate

Intramural Sports provides a competitive soccer league for those players looking for a more challenging game.  Mixed Teams are required to have at least 1 of the opposite gender on the court at all times. Competitive Leagues include Team Standings & Playoffs.
All players must use the Covid-19 daily checklist. If they answer yes to any questions, they are not permitted to play and must follow AHS guidelines.
