iGMT: Interactive Mapping of Geoscientific Datasets
Quick Installation of iGMT Version 1.2
Starting with iGMT 1.2, we provide a
csh-script to adjust the iGMT software to local settings.
Given that you have all the necessary
software such as GMT already on your system, installing iGMT
should be a piece of cake:
- download the distribution from our website
- move the tar file to a suitable directory, unzip it and expand the
tar archive
- change into the iGMT root directory that is created by the tar
file and type configure_script for "automatic" adaption of
local settings
- adjust location of data sets
- done.
