Our volunteer (peer helpers) are the heart and soul of our centre. Volunteers who include students, staff, faculty or members of the Calgary community lead all of our programs. Our team works to facilitate the projects, ideas and creative initiatives of our volunteers. The centre is defined by and for individuals who volunteer with us and enjoy our space. As one of our volunteers, you’ll be able to take advantage of our beautiful space, interact with passionate and engaged individuals from diverse backgrounds, and learn through dialogue and research.
- WRC peer helper positions are recognized by the university’s Co-Curricular Record.
- WRC peer helper positions are filled twice yearly for the fall and winter semesters. The majority of our positions are filled in the beginning of fall semester, so there is a limited number of available positions for winter semester.
- If you’d like to receive a notification of new peer helper recruitment opportunities or are interested in events/workshops, please subscribe to our e-newsletter.
