The Peer Support program supports women in making informed choices by providing information and access to resources while recognizing that each woman is resilient and has the strength to be her own agent of change and development.
The Peer Support program trains women from a variety of backgrounds on assisting and advocating for women both in groups and one-on-one. Peer Supporters receive first class training developing skills in active listening and crisis response among others. This intake and referral service is also available online through our searchable collection of organizations and resources for women.
This service is available to everyone! We welcome students, staff, faculty and community members alike. If you would like to speak to a peer supporter, come by in-person or contact us to arrange a time.
