Welcome to the SU Wellness Centre!

The SU Wellness Centre feels we all have a role to play in creating a healthy campus community, which is about working collaboratively to create a campus environment where students, faculty and staff feel empowered to support each other and participate actively in maintaining their own health and wellbeing.  With a student-centered approach, we offer comprehensive, holistic and accessible programs and services to foster all dimensions of wellness.

Medical Services Health Services – promote and monitor physical wellness for students and their dependents through access to our multi-disciplinary team.  Staff and students can access: 
  • Chiropractic
  • Massage
  • Walk-in medical services
  • Travel medicine clinic
  • Nutrition
Counselling services

Counselling – confidential services for students on a wide range of topics:

  • Scheduled appointments
  • Drop-in services
  • Online self-help modules; group counselling and workshops; individual and couples counselling 
  • Personal, academic and career/educational skill-building planning
Student Support and Outreach

Student Support and Outreach – support and outreach to students to address immediate and ongoing mental health needs. A multi-disciplinary team provides:

  • Mental health information
  • Referral to community and campus resources
  • Goal-setting and developing personal coping strategies
  • Response and support for reported concerns about Students-at-Risk
Events and programs

Events & Programs – building resiliency and capacity by offering innovative events & programs to promote wellness in mind, body and spirit.
