EDITOR’S NOTE: The community consultation for Energizing Eyes High is now complete. Thank you to everyone in the campus community who took part. Read the UToday article about the wrap-up of the consultation process, or view a slideshow summarizing the results of all 11 online polls.

Didn't have a chance to cast your vote in previous polls to refine the university’s strategy? All 11 weekly polls have now been re-opened.  Cast your vote in any or all of the polls by Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

More ways to engage

Total participation in the Energizing Eyes High consultation process is at more than 8,500. Haven’t had a chance to share your perspective yet? Beside the weekly polls, you can choose the consultation opportunity that works best for you.

Complete the online survey before Nov. 30 at 11:59 p.m. MST. More than 3,200 people have completed the online survey to refine the university’s strategic direction. Anyone who completes the survey is eligible to enter a draw for one of 10 iPad Pros. The random draw for the iPad Pros from focus group and survey participants will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1. Winners will be notified by Monday, Dec. 5. Students are also eligible for weekly draws for $10 Mac Hall food vouchers, with a 50 per cent chance of winning. Send a comment to eyeshigh@ucalgary.ca.

Participation in a total of 37 focus groups was more than 700. The last of the open-registration focus groups was held on Nov. 7. Some special sessions are still being offered by faculties and departments — watch for area-specific invitations.

The last of the roving booths was held Nov. 15 at Mac Hall.

What happens next?

Feedback will help focus UCalgary priorities and impact funding decisions going forward. Once the consultation feedback is collected and analyzed, a refined strategic direction will move through our governance bodies — the General Faculties Council and the Board of Governors — before it is launched in spring 2017.
