Paper Surveys vs. Online Surveys

In response to increasing concerns about low evaluation response rates, the University of Calgary has adopted a paper-based, in-class process.  Online surveys are utilized when paper surveys cannot be used (e.g., off-campus and web-based courses).  Online surveys are administered by the USRI Team.

Scantron's Class Climate is the survey software used for generating surveys and collecting USRI data from both online surveys and scanned paper forms.  The USRI Reporting System, developed by IT and the Office of Institutional Analysis (OIA), compiles survey responses and reports on the results.
