Your Unicard is your official University of Calgary identification card. You will use it to borrow materials from the library, use Calgary Transit (for full -time students) and to gain access to the gym, labs and other secure areas.
You can also add money to your Unicard and use it as a no-fee debit card to buy food, print and copy documents, or buy things at the Bookstore. There are currently 20 food locations on campus that accept the card.
How do I load funds onto my Unicard?
In person - load funds using cash, debit or credit at the Unicard Office in the Dining Centre (DC 18) and at the Corner Store in Hotel Alma.
Deposit Kiosk - at one of the three deposit kiosks loacted in the Talyor Family Digital Library, MacEwan Student Centre outside the Bookstore and the Health Sciences building. The Kiosk machines accept bills up to $20 and $1 and $2 coins.
Online - log on Unicard eAccounts using your IT username and password and deposit funds using a credit card. Want to make a deposit on someone else's card? You can with a credit card, their UCID and email address.
