Join us for a networking reception and lecture by Richard Carter, a leader in international development who specializes in water and sanitation development in low-income countries. President Elizabeth Cannon will provide opening remarks.

Rethinking the approach to international development: reflections from four decades of water and sanitation

Place: Alberta Room, Dining Centre, University of Calgary Main Campus

Dr. Carter will discuss the complexity of international development and the need to view it from a holistic perspective along with how progress can be made in the sector of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) through sustainable development.

The lecture will be followed by a networking reception. Refreshments will be provided.

Entrance to this event is free. Public parking is available in the Arts Parkade or Lot 3. Public transit is also available via bus or CTrain. Map your route.
