I’m happy that over 1,100 University of Calgary students pursue international study opportunities abroad to internationalize their degree and be better equipped to succeed in today’s global world. Concurrently, we welcome 3,400+ international students from 123 countries to our university every year.

We will work to further increase international integration through more student diversity, strengthening intercultural understanding, advancing international educational and research partnerships and boosting international development efforts. We’re the number one young university in Canada and among the top 20 young universities worldwide. Almost 36% of our faculty is originally from other countries and we have 250+ education and research collaboration agreements with universities around the world.
