Strategic regional advisory councils

Submitted by dandrei on Thu, 09/11/2014 - 2:15pm

Internationalization is a key priority for us. Through our international strategy we have committed to increase the diversity of students on campus, strengthen intercultural competencies, advance educational and research partnerships and boost international development efforts. The Strategic Regional Advisory Councils enable us to execute this mandate in key countries/regions of emphasis.

We have established six countries/regions of emphasis, each with its own associated regional council mandated to expand research and educational partnerships in these key regions: China, Germany, Mexico, Middle East, United States and East Africa. The councils meet quarterly to plan and monitor a regional strategy aimed to achieve planned objectives.
