  • Jodi Hilty - President and Chief Scientist, Yellowstone to Yukon Initiative - Y2Y is a joint Canada-U.S. not-for-profit organization that connects and protects habitat from Yellowstone to Yukon so people and nature can thrive.
  • Amy Chen -  student leader in UCalgary iGEM team that competed in international competition with their innovation focused on converting human waste to plastic.

Speakeasy is an event series that facilitates community-building with thought provoking discussion among students, staff and community across the arts, humanities, business, science and engineering in order to foster discovery, creativity and innovation. Enjoy provocative discussion, jazz, and art in the beautiful Taylor Institute building.
