Fika at the Taylor Institute

Fika is Swedish word for a coffee break that’s more about slowing down and connecting with others than drinking coffee. Both a noun and a verb derived from the Swedish word for coffee (kaffe), fika is a chance to relax and socialize in the company of colleagues, coffee or tea, and sweet pastries. Inspired by Katarina Mårtensson’s keynote at its 2017 spring conference, the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning (TI) cordially invites all members of the University of Calgary teaching and learning community to join us for monthly fika in the TI Gallery. Each session is hosted by Rachel Braun and invited co-hosts. For more information, see Rachel's August 2017 post on TI Connections, the Taylor Institute’s blog.

This session invites students, faculty, and staff to join Rachel Braun and Dr. Nancy Chick for: "Meet Your Teaching and Learning Community at the UofC". Registration is not required.
