Curriculum Series #4: Curriculum Mapping

This session is the fourth in a series on curriculum review (CR) at the University of Calgary, as established out of the Provost’s Office:

http://www.ucalgary.ca/provost/activities/reviews

In this session we will examine curriculum mapping (CM) in depth. We will give a demonstration of three different approaches for conducting CM, outlining benefits and drawbacks of each method. We will also discuss how guiding questions can be used to help structure CM, ensuring that you collect the data you need for your review.

This session is intended for faculty, graduate students and staff who are currently involved in CR or will be in the next couple of years. It is not necessary to have attended previous sessions in order to register for this workshop. Learn more about the curriculum review process by reading the Academic Quality Assurance Handbook – Curriculum Reviews:
