Curriculum Series #2: Guiding Questions, Timeline and Creating Your Review Plan

This session is the second in a series on curriculum review (CR) at the University of Calgary, as established out of the Provost’s Office:

http://www.ucalgary.ca/provost/activities/reviews

In this session, we will discuss how to define good questions to guide the CR process. You will work on writing questions for your own CR, as well as a realistic timeline that takes into account the ebb and flow of work in your faculty or department. Next we will construct an example review plan based on guiding questions that are generated in the workshop.

This session is intended for faculty, graduate students and staff who are currently involved in CR or will be in the next couple of years. It is not necessary to have attended previous sessions in order to register for this workshop. Learn more about the curriculum review process by reading the Academic Quality Assurance Handbook – Curriculum Reviews:
