Choosing A Major

With so many different degrees available, choosing the appropriate major can be daunting.  The Student Success Centre offers centrally-located, expert advising to help you as you explore potential programs.

Choosing a major

Most students will make changes to their program over the course of their academic career, whether it is changing faculties, changing their major within their faculty, or adding a minor or second major. So how do you go about building the degree program that is the best fit for you? By working with a specialized advisor within the Student Success Centre who has knowledge of programs across the University of Calgary, you can find the degree program that aligns with your skills, interests, and goals and with what you intend to get out of your university experience.
