Due to a campus wide network outage over the Thanksgiving Day long weekend (Friday, October 7 starting at 5:30 p.m. until Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 11:59 p.m.), the Working Alone system will not be available to the campus community.  During this time period, community members can contact the Campus Security Operations Centre @ 403-220-5333 to register by telephone.

Here are some bike safety and security tips to help you stay safe on the road:

  • Dismount bike when using a crosswalk
  • When riding on roadway, stop at stop sign and obey all other traffic control devices (no different than a motor vehicle)
  • Always wear a helmet when riding
  • Use lights/reflectors when riding at night
  • Ride at appropriate speed and be considerate of pedestrians
  • Use a good quality U-Lock when parking your bike and ensure it is properly affixed
