Lego NXT

There are many fantastic Lego Mindstorms resources available online;  only a few are listed here.

Want to familiarize yourself with Lego's NXT-G graphical programming language?
Click here for a free tutorial made for FIRST Lego League participants.

Want to practice programming in NXT-G?
Click here to access Lego's free download page.  Note that once installed on your computer, you can program to your heart's content but cannot see the actual results unless you download your code to a Lego Mindstorms brick.

Want to see building instructions and programs for starter ideas?
Click here for Lego's official project page for Education Base Sets.  Note that we don't have many of the Education Resource Sets they also call for, so you may need to get creative with part substitution.

Want to design in a Lego CAD program and make your own building instructions for your creation?
Click here for the Lego Digital Designer 4.3 download page.

Intermediate mentor resources

Want to run your NXT from Matlab/Simulink?
Click here for the video tutorial that shows how ridiculously easy it is to set up.
