The PURE Awards provide undergraduate students with opportunities to experience research beyond the walls of the classroom.
Through PURE, undergraduate students learn how to write research proposals, seek research funding, undertake or participate in substantive projects, learn discipline-specific skills, and report research results.
PURE is a program of the Office of the Provost and is administered by the University Teaching and Learning Funding Committee. PURE is co-funded by the Office of the Provost and the Office of the Vice-President (Research). Applications (including supporting letters from supervisors) are due in February of each year.
