When university students graduate, they officially join a family of alumni–fellow graduates who share similar experiences and memories of a profound time of their lives. At the University of Calgary, we include all students as part of this growing family; because after all, students are alumni in the making.
The University of Calgary’s alumni family is 150,000 strong and they make remarkable contributions to the business, health, social, cultural and political life of Calgary and communities around the world. While almost seventy percent of our alumni stay in Calgary to live and work, University of Calgary grads can be found in more than 147 countries around the world.
Every graduate of the University of Calgary is an automatic lifetime member in the University of Calgary Alumni Association, keeping alumni connected to each other and the university and to supporting them in their pursuits and celebrating their achievements.
So even after graduation, make sure to keep your contact information up-to-date so we can stay in touch. You’ll receive our alumni e-newsletter, ArchE and flagship magazine, U Magazine as well as invitations to alumni events in your area. Because you’re a graduate, you’re also eligible for preferred rates through our affinity partners: Canada Life, MBNA, MedjetAssist, TD Insurance Meloche Monnex and Wellington West, which in turn helps supports alumni and student programming at the University of Calgary.
