Research Interests:

The causal neuronal mechanisms of learning, memory formation and forgetting. We are especially interested in how stress alters memory formation; especially ecologically relevant stressors such as predator detection and crowding.

Key words describing research:

associative learning, long-term memory; stress, predator-detection, lymnaea, neurophysiology, central pattern generator

Techniques used in your laboratory:

behaviour, electrophysiology and some molecular techniques
