Hotel Alma wins TripAdvisor® award

To meet the criteria for this prestigious award, Hotel Alma had to maintain an average guest rating of more than four stars out of five. Other criteria include the volume of reviews and how recently Hotel Alma guests submitted these reviews to TripAdvisor.

“It’s an enormous compliment for our staff to be rated so highly and so consistently by our guests”, says Amy Turner, the operations manager at Hotel Alma. “We’re committed to exceeding our guests’ expectations and this award confirms that the staff’s hard work and dedication allows us to achieve that.”

Hotel Alma is TripAdvisor’s 13th ranked top hotel in Calgary. TripAdvisor® is the world's largest travel community, where travelers can post unbiased reviews of hotels around the globe. More than 50 million travellers visit TripAdvisor each month to share their travel experiences.

The Alberta Hotel & Lodging Association has also praised Hotel Alma. Each year, the association evaluates the cleanliness of hotels across the region. This year, Hotel Alma received the highest classification for cleanliness possible. “Our housekeeping staff do an amazing job of keeping the entire hotel clean, tidy and generally well maintained,” says Turner.

Hotel Alma features 96 rooms and suites, a stylish bistro, and conference facilities for up to 125—all conveniently close to campus activities and amenities. The hotel welcomes guests from the campus community and beyond.
