“Our housekeeping and maintenance staff does an amazing job of keeping the entire hotel in such excellent condition,” says Amy Turner, associate director. “The inspector also praised the staff, saying that they were engaged and professional.”

These audits are done annually with no notice and determine whether or not a hotel will be a recommended property in the AHLA listings. It is an important ranking from which many other listings are based.

“Trip Advisor, Expedia and have all ranked us as three stars or better, and we rely on their determination – plus the AHLA approval ranking – to determine reputational perception,” says Turner.

Hotel Alma features 96 rooms and suites, a stylish bistro, and conference facilities for up to 125 – all conveniently close to campus activities and amenities. The hotel welcomes guests from the campus community and beyond.
