Happy New Year from the MaPS executive!

UToday HomeJanuary 18, 2013

The executive committee for the university’s Management and Professional Staff (MaPS) had an active and productive year on behalf of this staff group.

They began 2012 by developing a Terms of Reference to guide them in a campus-wide discussion to revitalize their organization. They ended the year with employee recognition, a winter celebration and a vision for even more MaPS input into activities for 2013.

“2012 was the year of change for the MaPS organization,” says Rob Scorey, chair of the MaPS Executive Committee. “We redefined how we can better represent MaPS employees and promote a positive and productive work environment.”

“Thank you very much to everyone who worked with MaPS to make 2012 a great success,” says Scorey. “The MaPS executive is looking forward to continued successes in 2013 with your help.”

A summary of activities undertaken in 2012, along with minutes from the MaPs Executive meetings, are posted on the MaPs website.
