Photo by David MollNearly 350 of Canada’s best swimmers have descended on the University of Calgary Aquatic Centre for the first Canadian Interuniversity Sport championship event of the 2013 winter season.

The meet kicks off Thursday morning and runs through Saturday night. Preliminaries go each morning at 10 a.m., with finals slated for 6 p.m.

It’s the second time in three years that the Dinos have hosted the national university swimming championships, with the home side capturing the team titles on both the men’s and women’s sides in 2011. They take on the defending champion UBC Thunderbirds, their archrivals, along with a host of other competitors this weekend for a shot at CIS glory.

All sessions will be streamed live. Seating is limited and tickets are available at the door.
