The show features works from environmental design students, faculty and alumni, which are displayed and available for purchase in the EVDS Kasian Gallery (PF 2182) until Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.

Art show pieces come from a variety of mediums — such as digital photography, paintings, sketches, 3D renderings, and cross stitching — and bidding starts at $15 per item.

“The intent of the Small Frame Show is threefold,” says Trevor Steckly, EVDS SA gallery wall chair. “First, it supports the SA as they make a small profit from selling the frames. Second, the artists benefit with 100 per cent of the artwork profits going back to the artists. Third, whoever purchases one of these small frames gets a unique and original artwork for an excellent price.”

Join the EVDS SA on Friday, Dec. 7 from 6-8 p.m. for the Small Frame Mixer and End-of-Class Celebration. Bidding will remain open until 7 p.m., and winning bidders can collect their art that evening.

The Small Frame Show is an excellent way to support local artists and collect an original piece of art.
