Let's Talk Science is a national, charitable, outreach organization that engages post-secondary student volunteers at universities and colleges across Canada to turn kids on to science. Each site is unique and operates in a manner most suited to their communities needs. At the U of C we have many community and faculty partners who generously donate their resources to our site, and as such we are able to offer extremely high quality workshops for high school students in the Calgary area.
Learn some Fast Facts about our chapter in the document below.
Our site also organizes and runs the annual Science, Engineering and Technology Challenge which is a day long, "Amazing Race"-themed science competition for Alberta high school students. Teams compete to win prizes, glory and money for their school's science department. For more information, click HERE.
