Canadian playwright and author Patricia Joudry was born in Spirit River, Alberta, on October 18, 1921. Died in Powell River, British Columbia, on October 28, 2000. Biographical information available in The Oxford companion to Canadian theatre, p. 282; and The feminist companion to literature in English : women writers from the Middle Ages to the present, p. 592.
Fonds consists of personal and business correspondence; diaries, journals and writer's logs; research material; manuscripts and page and galley proofs of stage, radio and television plays, fiction and prose; playbills; reviews; photographs; and published work.
Acquired in several accessions between 1982 and 2004.
