FOIP General Awareness 

Description: Alberta's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act has an impact on how we do conduct business at the University.  The General Awareness session is intended to provide a broad overview of the underlying principles and intent of the Act as well as the effect of the Act on University policies and procedures. 

This session, which is intended for all employees of the University, is delivered by the Access and Privacy Coordinator at the request of a department, group, or organization.  Typical running time is approximately 1 ½ hours but the content and timing can be tailored to suit the requirement.
