Delegation of Authority
The Board of Governors has designated General Counsel to serve as ‘head’ for the purposes of the Act. The ‘head’ is the person who is accountable for all decisions made under the FOIP Act. The head delegates the day-to-day management of the FOIP process to the Access and Privacy Coordinator but the designation establishes who has the final authority on FOIP matters.
Pursuant to Section 85 of the Act, the head has delegated specific duties, powers, or functions of the head as outlined in the Delegation Authority Table.
