Exchange (Outlook) is the standard UCalgary email and calendar platform for faculty and staff, providing integration between tasks, calendar items, email messages and contacts. Web based access is available through the Outlook Web App.

How do I set-up UCalgary email on my mobile device?

Note: IT supports mobile devices on a best-efforts model.

Below are the basic steps required to set-up your Exchange 2010 email account on Active Sync mobile devices (e.g. iPhones and Androids). 

For help connecting Blackberries to your Exchange 2010 email account, please see the IT Support Centre (7th Floor Math Sciences) in person with your mobile device.

How much storage is available?

Assigned storage quotas of 1000 MB of mailbox per user.

*30 day backup/recovery period following message deletion.

Visit and enter you IT username and password.

The Outlook Web App (OWA) provides end-users the same email and calendar experience as the desktop client, with the added benefit of having access to email anywhere there is internet service, on any device
