The IT Online Learning System (OLS) provides free online learning for U of C faculty, staff, and students. Most courses are delivered via video tutorial, and cover a range of useful subjects; from Microsoft Office software, to Adobe programs and email etiquette.
Full courses are available, or you can choose to browse the content for specific information. Should you have any questions about the course material, a chat feature with a live subject expert is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The OLS can be accessed by following these steps:
- Log in to MyUofC with your eID
- Click on the Online Learning System link on the Quick Links menu
- Enter your IT username and password
Click on ‘Use Registration Code’ and enter the appropriate code from the list below:

Or, select a course from the left-hand menu and begin. If the course you wish to take is not on this menu, and has no code listed, call the Support Centre at 220-5555 and they will create one for you.
