Internship -- now there's an experience. Your first chance to get out there and put what you've learned into practice while seeing the world. The Schulich School of Engineering is inviting you to share this amazing time -- the hands-on experience and international exposure that makes internship such an incredible event.

What was life like? What did you see, where did you go, what were your experiences? What could you only explain in a photograph? Send us your best photos and you could win a fantastic prize! There are categories for life, work and adventure in both national and international settings.  Be sure to enter your internship videos as well!

The Schulich School of Engineering Internship Program
The engineering internship program is designed to develop superior graduates by giving students hands-on work experience in an area related to their program of study.

They gain practical experience, develop industry contacts and networks, as well as a broad range of skills and knowledge that can only be learned outside of the classroom. Interns graduate with up to one year of engineer-in-training experience recognized as part of the work experience required to obtain the professional engineer designation (PEng). Employers benefit from highly motivated employees for a select term with the possibility of immediate permanent employment upon graduation. As a voluntary program, the engineering internship program boasts an extraordinarily high student participation rate of more than 70 percent as a direct result of its success in meeting both student and employer needs.
