Calgary International Airport to the Banff Centre
1. Driving
If you choose to travel by private vehicle, you will find the route has plenty of signage and the trip from the Calgary International Airport to Banff takes approximately 90 minutes.

The Banff Centre is located on the side of a mountain and is undergoing a major revitalization project. The site does present some challenges to people with limited mobility. There is ramp access to most buildings. Wheelchair and handicap access routes are shown on the campus map. Some bedrooms have been adapted for wheelchair access and some phones in Donald Cameron Hall are positioned at a lower level for wheelchairs. For our hearing impaired guests, there is a phone equipped with an amplifier handset on the sixth floor of Lloyd Hall.
Wireless internet is available free of charge and the coverage is campus-wide. Look for banffcentre.ca from your computer, a password is not required.
Throughout The Banff Centre there are PCs (Macintosh or MS Windows) for guest and artist use. Two are located in the Paul D. Fleck Library (lower level of Lloyd Hall), one in Glyde Hall, two located in the lobby of Donald Cameron Hall, and two in the Fireplace Lounge, Professional Development Centre (PDC).
In Banff, there are two Internet cafes, located in the Bear Street Mall and in the lower level of Sundance Mall.
The Banff Centre's Sally Borden Recreation Facility houses a 25 metre pool, steam rooms, whirlpool, weight room, full-sized gym with indoor running track, badminton, squash court and climbing wall. These facilities will be available for general usage to all overnight guests of The Banff Centre at no extra charge.
Parking
Long-term parking is available in two locations on campus: the underground parkade on the north side of campus and the visitor parking lot on the south end of campus. Short term parking is available throughout campus, as noted on the campus map. Check-in is at the Professional Development Centre. Campus directories are located at the two entrances.
